Bleeding at site of drain tube

Hey, has anyone any suggestions for me? I am bleeding at the site of the drain tube, is this normal or should I seek medical attention?

How much bleeding, how much blood? What color is the blood, bright red or dark? Is it mixed at all, watery? How long since your surgery? Please give more details. Hubby had this happen 3 weeks ago....let me know.
