I am on my 8th day of the Optifast diet and I am quite hungry. The thought of going to clear liquids after the surgery (next Wednesday) is unbearable because I am so hungry now. :thumbup: The NP told me I won't be hungry after the surgery so it won't matter. Is this true? And I was told no pork, ham, or beef for at least 6 months. What's up with that?

I was sleeved on 2/18 and know for sure it is more than just head hunger b/c I have been on liquids for a week now. And I still can't eat anything more than thin soup or SF pudding. Tonight I had some potato soup and filled up quickly so that was great. I can't wait to start heartier foods in small quantities. Liquids just don't stick around long enough and clear broth gets old so fast. Good luck and keep me posted on your progress.
