Sex life after surgery

I'm sorry to ask so many personal questions but I'm just really curious. I'm 4 days post op and my boyfriend and I have our one year anniversary in 19 days and I was wondering: How long did you ladies wait before you had sex? Is 3 weeks is enough time? Is Did it hurt? What positions did you find the most comfortable?

My doctor said if it doesn't hurt, go for it. I didn't have any time restriction so I think I was about 1 week post op. It didn't hurt (felt pretty good actually.... ). So my opinion is go for it.

The only position I didn't like was him being on top, his weight on my stomach was too much. Otherwise it was all good.

Did you find a certain position more comfortable than the rest? You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable!

You should be fine by the 20th as long as you don't have any complications. We did it the day after my surgery as he had just got home from being out of town for a month and I couldn't wait. Being on top worked best as I could control everything, and now 3 weeks later everything is back to normal and I have had no issues with my band or incisions because of it.

I had sex in about 4 days and it was fine. I notice that when I'm on my back even now I feel my port so i prefer other ways but other than that it was fabulous....and keeps getting better and better as you lose weight!! Good luck!

I know I'm a guy....but here is one piece of advice......

No matter when you do start, make sure you wait at least an hour or so after eating. Trust me. My wife and I had to stop one evening, I just couldn't continue (When was the last time a guy had to say, "Stop, we are having sex too soon!")
