My students came back today and let me tell you I hit the ground running. I got to work at 6:45 today with the intent of getting some stuff done before kids get there at 8:15. Well...that didn't happen. Issue, after issue today. I realized at 5:15 PM that I had not eaten all day. Not a thing. My yogurt for Breakfast was forgotten, my lunch...well, what is lunch anyway for teachers? One of my students knocked my precious CAFFEINE loaded diet peach green tea on the floor. Phew! What a day.

Luckily having my band made me not feel like I was dying! I was able to deal with the craze of the day and then go out for a birthday dinner. Now I am going to pass out and do it all over again tomorrow. Except hopefully I get to eat!

I can relate. I teach third grade math and science. Today, I started cleaning and organizing my classroom. Students return on August 19th. Remember, not eating isn't healthy, ok? Try your best to get something in. I know that I am going to purchase Protein shakes to take to work. If I am having "one of those days" I'll grab one and go.

I forgot to mention, that while I was fixing up the classroom, I did not eat anything from 8:00 am - 5:00 or later. Since I know that is not good, I pre-planned for tomorrow by packing 2 bottles of Water, a pack of Melba toast, and some tuna. I want to make sure that I am eating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
