Thankful for bandy

My students came back today and let me tell you I hit the ground running. I got to work at 6:45 today with the intent of getting some stuff done before kids get there at 8:15. Well...that didn't happen. Issue, after issue today. I realized at 5:15 PM that I had not eaten all day. Not a thing. My yogurt for Breakfast was forgotten, my lunch...well, what is lunch anyway for teachers? One of my students knocked my precious CAFFEINE loaded diet peach green tea on the floor. Phew! What a day.

Luckily having my band made me not feel like I was dying! I was able to deal with the craze of the day and then go out for a birthday dinner. Now I am going to pass out and do it all over again tomorrow. Except hopefully I get to eat!

I can relate. I teach third grade math and science. Today, I started cleaning and organizing my classroom. Students return on August 19th. Remember, not eating isn't healthy, ok? Try your best to get something in. I know that I am going to purchase Protein shakes to take to work. If I am having "one of those days" I'll grab one and go.

I forgot to mention, that while I was fixing up the classroom, I did not eat anything from 8:00 am - 5:00 or later. Since I know that is not good, I pre-planned for tomorrow by packing 2 bottles of water, a pack of Melba toast, and some tuna. I want to make sure that I am eating.
