Day 2 Pre-op Diet, No Biggie

Well, I'm starting on day 2 of my pre-op diet and it is tolerable. Sure I was hungry, but isn't that the point? I went to Health food Unlimited and bought a variety of whey Protein isolate samples to see what is the best. I did buy a packet of Cookies and Creme Protein powder from GNC, made up a drink yesterday for supper and it wasn't that bad. Ok, the truth is if I didn't have to drink it, I wouldn't but that is where I am right now, so I'll just deal with it. I'm keeping a journal that lists all of the stuff I'm eating and its nutritional content, focusing on protein. Yesterday I made it to 55g. of protein, the doctor said 60-70 grams a day, I think I'll put an extra Greek yogurt into the day and I would make the goal.

How are you all doing on your pre-op diets?

My pre op was during the 4th of july and all the summer BBQS it was tough but lost a few pounds. I also worked out. I haven't been able to work out since surgery but I go for a fill today and should be cleared as im not in pain. Good luck on surgery.

Best wishes for your journey!

I am on day 2 tomorrow. Today was ok until the afternoon. I felt exhausted and took a 2 hr nap. My cravings weren't horrible and I tolerated a friend eating chicken tenders/fries. Pretty sure my mouth watered though lol. Every day brings me one step closer. We can do it.
