Has anyone had trouble eating Chinese food? I had a bowl of hot and sour soup yesterday w/ some 'crunchy' noodles mixed in. Oh my gosh .... I thought I was going to die ..... I ate about 3/4 of it and had to stop ... I was so sick the rest of the day. I had diarrhea so bad I thought I was never going to stop. I don't know if it was the MGN that they put in it or what. All I know is that I am NEVER going to go for Chinese again!!

Anybody else ever have problems w/ Chinese?

Plunder I LOOOOOOOOVE crab rangoon. And I love honey chicken and general tso's chicken! I am gonna be really sad if I cannot eat that anymore. There is a great buffet place here called Crazy Buffet. It is awesome! All you can eat asian food, from soups to sushi to fresh seafood to roasted duck! It is awesome. I really want to be able to go back there when i am banded, but it is looking more and more like I won't be able to.

Does Anyone Know If Its Ok To Eat The Lipton Cream Of Chicken Soup For The 2 Weeks Before My Surgery. I Mean The Kind In The Box You Add Hot Water To. Thanks For Anyones Help!

I'd call and ask your Dr. Depends on his he has you on just liquids or Clear Liquids I would think.

I know when I get a fill "MY" Dr says 1 day of liquids and I can eat cream of chicken Soup but I eat it from the can, and I ate it all day yesterday lol cause I just got my fill.

Again call your Dr or their nurse, all Dr's have differ rules.

I cant go to buffets any more its a waste of money for my 4 or 5 bites lol, I order it to go from our local place~Hubby and I share 1 meal 6.00 kids share a meal 6.00 instead of buffet 9.00 each and 6.00 each kido

I ate Chinese on Mother's Day, fried rice....and PB'd...not good.
