3 weeks out and NOT LOSING WEIGHT ! hmmm

Well, I am 3 weeks banded, I have followed all the rules and have been eating up to 800-900 calories a day. I lost 9 pounds the 1st week after surgery and have not BUDGED in the past 2 weeks. I am eating mushies at this point and have been eating mostly proteins and a few veges. Any ideas if this is normal , or why I can't make the scales move ? I have been walking on the treadmill 5 days 30 mins. at a time too. I want to see some RESULTS ! IMPATIENT !

Great post, Wheetsin.

A person can get in veggies by doing something like drinking one V8 per day. Personally, I fix myself whatever Protein I'm having and a side of veggies right next to it. It doesn't have to be raw salad type veggies, it can be canned green Beans, asparagus, broccoli, pinto beans, butter beans, black-eyed peas - anything that your little heart desires. I use a dessert plate, put my one serving of chicken breast, tuna, egg, whatever protein, then a spoon or two of veggies next to it and move along.

thanks for the ideas. I know protein in lg. quantities isn't good, so i will try to vary the diet with other stuff. thanks, will keep in touch.
