Hi! Congratulations on getting banded. When I got banded, my surgeon placed 3.0 cc of fluid in my band during the operation. That night and the next day, I had severe chest pains. It hurt to breathe. The next day after surgery, my doctor called me and when I mentioned the chest pains he said to go to the clinic immediately. There, he removed liquid, but I don't know how much. Needless to say, the pain disappeared in a matter of minutes. A week later, he placed 1.5 cc and on Monday, July 22 I see him again.
