Incisions/ Bandages

So, my surgeon said I can shower & these tape looking bandaids will fall off if not he will remove them 1 week post op appointment. Anyone got any other instructions?

I was told to just leave them alone. They fell off in about 4 weeks.

They may look better after you shower, not quite so icky. Either way, you really should leave them on there until they fall off. Congratulations fellow bandster!

Mine said that I can take the bandaids off 1 days after surgery when I shower and that I could let the water and soap run over the incisions but to leave the steri strips alone until they fall off by themselves.

I had my staples out after 10 days and they put steri strips on afterwards but some of them only lasted a day or so. I am down to just three strips. Everything else has healed up and the itching is starting to subside.
