My info was sent out on Monday to the insurance company. I should receive an answer withing 30 days. Does it really take that long? I'm so excited can't wait to have my surgery date. Then it will feel more real to me :-)

I had Cigna Carelink and was approved in 3 days. They denied me the first day due to clerical error on some of the paper work but 2 days later I was appoved. Good Luck!!

Heck no! You'll have an answer in a week or less. You'll find out faster if you call the insurance company yourself after a few days, don't wait for your doctor's office to call you - most of the time they don't know until they get the letter in the mail.

I was approved in 9 days, and I don't think they would have called me for a while, because like stated above you will receive a letter and so will your Doctor saying you were approved. I was approved May 30th and they didn't get there letter for a few weeks, so I jumped ahead and started calling around and once I knew I was approved I called the Doc to set appointments etc. Best Wishes to you!!!

I called today 7/10 she told me I should have an answer by 7/15.
