What part of Florida? I am in the SW

That is not too far....I know there is a large bariatric community in Tampa.

Find a good surgeon and listen to all of your optons...

I wish I would have done this at a much earlier age. Take control now if you can.

I will help in anyway I can.

I am unsure about insurance. I was self pay :(

Hi there! I'm in SW FL too! Ft Myers. Wanna be a buddy? :)

I would like to have someone to talk with!

I'm in FL too but East Coast, however I go to Dr Rehnke once a month in St Petersburg and I go to Cleareater often as well! Keep in touch.

I need some support my pcp is not listning to me

I hear you. My doctor feels I'm not losing fast enough. I have lost 55 lbs since Dec. my pre-op diet was on Dec 14th and my surgery date was 12/28/12. I am thrilled with the loss but I don't think my PCP has any concept of how the Lapband works. He feels I should have lost 90 lbs by now. I feel slow and steady wins the race.
