I bought Unjury unflavored Protein because I could stomach another Protein Shake. Dreaded the thought of it. Well $50 for the stuff and it's the exact texture, color of my vanilla protein I had. I have tried adding it to the stuff they say ( yogurt, your fav beverage, Soup blah blah.. It's nasty. Period. Don't waste your money. Can't mix It with anything cuz the scoop is such a huge amt that you have to mix in a freaking 1/4 or 1/2 cup of something, it just does not work!

I totally agree! I bought the chocolate splendor too and it's worse than the unflavored.

Have you tried Syntrax Nectar fuzzy navel flavor it taste like an orange drink it is not milky or have an after taste they have different flavors. I've had fuzzy navel and caribbean cooler I liked the fuzzy navel the Caribbean cooler is to coconutty and has an after taste. But you can order samples I believe. I get it at BariacticAdvantage.com. There is a similar website that comes up when you type it in google it is bariactric choice.com. They don't have it so make sure it is BariactricAdvantage.com. I think you can even find it on Amazon too

I think it may be a per person acquired taste thing because I have only used Unjury in all flavors for my pre-op and now my post op (okay the chicken soup BLAHHHH) But I like the way they taste and mix in my milk Water coffee and yogurt I ran out of unflavored and had to go get some from GNC which is there version it actually isn't bad either!

GNC Total Lean chocolate and Vanilla Bean are really good! They will let you taste them before you buy.

I have had my band since 2005 and I can not even imagine how much money I have lost on Protein Drinks that were so awful that I threw them away or could barely even drink them. I work with a girl and she told me that her dad sells these Protein drinks that are awesome called Ultimate Muscle Protein (UMP) and she would bring me a sample to try. I had extreme low expectation of this product because I have never found one that I could stick with. Let me tell you AWESOME!! I had Cookies and cream and added frozen strawberries to make a fruit smoothie. It can be ordered on line and it is reasonably priced and has all the nutritional value we need for us banders. I thought I would share this with you because I have never found one that actually tastes this good and that I can drink on a daily bases (without plugging my nose to drink) LOL : )

Tastes for Proteins vary so much , I liked the Unjury and couldn't taste the whey very much, I NEVER like the vanillas , you just have to find one you like I guess

I like the unjury vanilla, don't care for the chocolate and the strawberry is slightly too sweet for me. Different strokes and all :)

I did start using my husband's Optimum Nutrition strawberry whey and it is pretty tasty in Water with a splash of lime juice.

Muscle Milk Lite chocolate seems to be the best one for me. Tastes OK even at room temperature. The costco stores in the Phoenix area carry it in 24 bottle cases.

Try the Unjury unflavored in orange juice...can't taste it or even detect it...that's the only way I get all my Protein in....I agree it's nasty in yogurt, milk and flavored waters....

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
