Hey there, Just had my first consultation a couple of weeks ago. Still up in the air but leaning towards doing it. Have to go through the entire 6 month process of trying to get approved now, but nervous. Would love some insight on the band. I'm someone who's battled weight my entire life and food is an addiction. Sick and tired of the yoyo dieting and constant feeling like crap. Would appreciate any and all info on the band, life after etc... My surgeon is Dr. Schwack.

Go to the pre-op section of the forum and read up! Buy a book. It takes a book to tell you everything, and several have already been written! Good luck on the process.

Mdg, everyone here has battled weight all their lives and tried all the diets. Cheznoel is right. Buy Jean McMillan's "Bandwagon" or Alex Brechers "The big book". And, read as much as you can here every day if you have time.
