Hi CaWanna - happy for you. Just one advice: make sure you bottle this emotion you are experiencing right now - it will work wonders to recall and re-live it on "rainy days".

I am 3 days post op. I had the same feelings as I am sure many others did to. The fears and the nervousness has subsided and now I am just excited for the future!

Good luck to everyone having surgery this month!! I'm new to this site, so just exploring a little. I'm having my surgery next if everything goes well. I have a question. What made you decide for lap band rather than the other surgeries? I live in Massachusetts and my surgeon here was really pushing the sleeve, but refused just because of the cutting. Thanks in advance for your replies.
