I received my diet yesterday from my nutritionist. I have to say after reading several blogs, my restrictions aren't that bad. I have to be on this diet for the next two weeks. Surgery is May 23rd!!! The diet consists of 4 protein shakes per day. I am also able to have 6-8 servings of the following: 3 Oz chicken or Fish, 2 Egg whites, 1/2 cup of sugar-free Jello, yogurt, chicken broth or 1 cup of vegetables (Carrots, Lettuce, Celery). I was really nervous about just having protein shakes. I am on my way and very excited to start my "New Life". It will be a very hard road, but manageable and well worth it!!
Good luck to all of the May banders!!!
