My port has tilted (not flipped) from time to time. I have felt it sort of pop back into place. The closest thing I can describe it as is like an unborn baby giving a single kick under my ribs. My surgeon has confirmed that it was tilted. He said a tilting port was a possible precursor to a flipped port but so far so good.

I don't believe that eating too much would be a cause of a flipped port.
