I know I did, but quite honestly I'm fine with that. One day off isn't going to sabotage anyone. Christmas was a freebie day for me, too. Tomorrow I'll be back to my normal diet.

A couple "bad" days a year hasn't hurt me and quite honestly it keeps me on track the rest of the time because I don't feel deprived.

Almost feel bad saying I had a great day.Today is day 5 post op so really didn't want to be bad. Made a butternut squash pear Soup and pumpkin fluff to take to dinner and truly enjoyed it and the conversation with special friends. Looked at the homemade Peanut Butter eggs and admit I wanted a taste but didn't do it. Actually worried I didn't eat enough today but its too late now to have anything but my Sobe Water, the bushel of pills it seems like I am taking right now and call it a night. Loved the sentiments about special days and knowing they will be there every year of this new life.

I'm with you Mis73 on this. I give myself a day off on holidays. I know that I work with my band most of the time and I will get back on meal plan tomorrow.

I'll probably pay the price tomorrow because of the chocolate intake, but oh well. Life is too short to not have a few indulgences.

my indulge was a snack of popcorn this afternoon, I couldn't help myself, other than that, I've eaten good all day, hope it didn't do too much damage to the scales.< /p>

Try not to think of it as "good" or "bad". Life happens! We just gotta stick to our exercise routines, and eat well the majority of the time to offset it. I had a few big slip ups these past few days that I feel guilty about, but all we can do is move forward with a solid plan for this upcoming week.

I am encouraged by your post! I thought popcorn was the only food I would not be able to eat in the future and it is my most guilty pleasure. I have something to look forward to (besides how hot I am going to look eating it! ) LoL

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
