Same here. I've only taken the nausea pill once. The liquid lortab is a life saver.

Hope you soon get some relief astott626, , got my band on Tues(3/26) and have been pretty lucky with the gas pains. Have a pain today in the middle of my back which has been the worst of it. Struggling with the blues for some reason. Thinking its a combination of this miserable winter that will not end and the after effects of the anesthesia. Anxious to get to a real scale and see if I have any more off.Was down 19 from the preop diet. Best of luck!!

So yesterday I felt bruising on my left calf. My mom and I wonder if its from being moved after the procedure or something more serious. Anyone else experience this?

I have the pain in the middle of my back too. It's got to have something to do with my band.

Wishing for a turn towards sunnier days for you!!

So my incision pain is getting better. But it made me notice another problem ... I think I have strep :( I'm struggling to stay positive with all this pain. Its like razors cutting my throat when I swallow. All I want to do is sleep. Probably going to urgent care to find out what it really is. What an Easter :(

I propped up pillows tall on bed and just leaned up against them on my side on the 2 days I was super sick. I couldnt lay on my right side at all! But I laid on left side an proppe pillow under stomach. It was still uncomfortable for a few minutes until I relaxed and stopped freaking out.

They gave me pills for pain and later an rx for zofran pills! They were hard to swallow!

My throat was so sore on days 2-6 from tube! It was raw! I hope you arent getting strep! I would call your band doc and tell them you think you have it- he/she should take care of thise things because they know what they want you to have.

Hope you feel better soon!

Recliner for 2 days then slept on the couch with pillows under my tummy while I slept on my right side so that I could sleep without my tummy tugging on my incision. Was amazing. Best way to relieve gas...heat packs, lots of walking, and allowing yourself to fart...true story. I feel pretty great today. :) as for the person with strep...get well soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
