I have 4 tattoos. A very tiny heart with a vine going through it on my right breast, a lavender rose going through a heart and a butterfly landing on the rose on the left side of my back, and a moon and shooting star on my left ankle. I got all them when I was very young.

My only recent one I got 2 years ago. It's a butterfly on the inside of my left forearm but the body is an orange awareness ribbon. Under the butterfly is the word "Believe".

Funny enough, the butterfly on my left forearm is half the size it was when I got it. It's shrank right along with the rest of me LOL!

I don't have one......yet! That is the reward I am giving to myself when I reach my goal weight. I have already designed it. It will represent my being set free from my weight loss struggle!

It is beautiful!

Ok CG, I am telling my wife this is your fault, I just emailed my artist what I wanted on my calf. I waited 57 years to get my first one, and by the time I retire I am going to end up looking like the illustrated man. :o

sexy thang........

I don't have any tats at all! I am contemplating an ankle tatoo with my daughter and granddaugters name inscribed for my 50th birthday this year. My husband does not have any tatoos either. I guess we are both straight edged, LOL

My first tattoo.....

I was sitting at a bar in the Philippines during the Vietnam war.....I paid 5 dollars to have a tat put on my left shoulder....she did it with a sharpened piece of bamboo and a bottle cap of ink....

never left the bar stool......

Years later, I had it covered up with a professional tat....the studio got a kick out of it...took many pictures and wrote down my story...they said this was one of those "classics" that needed to be remembered....

I won't say what it was, it was not dirty, per say, but the people in the tattoo parlor called it "Porn" but it wasn't....but I got tired of explaining it and telling the story to people whenever I had my shirt off....

Ohh A topic I love!! I have lots. Hard to say in numbers. I have more covered areas. Left fore arm done, I only covered my top left arm because I am having an arm lift - after the lift I will cover the scar on both arms with tats - left arm is lilies and hibiscus. I have my entire right calf covered with a huge weeping willow tree and a pin-up girl looking fairy. I have my neck covered by all different stars. half my back with 2 big fairies (yup got a thing for fairies!) Then I have several smaller ones, thighs, ankle, ring finger. I also have a dragon on my left breast that will soon be distorted because of a breast lift - not really upset about this, I got the tat 20 years ago and would like to have it covered anyway!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
