Pre-surgery: What great things does the future hold?

Recommended Posts

I want to be able to walk for hours long without pain. I miss those days where I was able to walk from one length of the Jersey Shore boardwalk and back with no problem. I want to be able to go back down to Disney World and walk' date=' instead of using the scooter. I want to be able to ride a bicycle, or maybe roller skate.

So many things I look forward to doing again, Its mostly physical activities that will be challenging, but the end reward will be to actually accomplish these simple tasks that we take for granted every day, that is what I mostly look forward to....[/quote']

I moved to FL in June and went to Disney. I was disappointed that I also had to rent a scooter! My goal is to go before Christmas with at lease 100 pounds less!

Yup, I want to be able to finish this ride. I tried to train for it last year, but I just couldn't push my bulk fast enough, forlong enough to do it. My only concern is that I won't be able to lose the weight and train at the same time. So, if not this year, then next.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
