Port Pain During Vacation

I am about 7 weeks post op and for the last 3 days I have had a lot of pain on/around my port. It hurts when I breathe in and gives me what feels like a side ache. It is also tender to the touch. I was in the ocean in some pretty strong waves and I'm wondering if I did something to it. My port hasn't hurt for a few weeks now and I thought it was completely healed. Does anyone have experience with port pain like this? Thanks in advance for your help!!

For a couple months after my surgery' date=' i would occasionally pull on accident and have similar pain for a few days.

Take it easy for a few days. The port site is very slow to heal and if bumped can irritate the muscle it is attached to.
