Hello! I'm New!

Hi! My name is Kelly - My surgery was performed on December 17, 2012. So far I have lost 15 lbs and am very excited! I've started my soft foods and am finding it very weird to eat so little, but like that I am not hungry all day long. I'm starting to get a little down as my weight loss has slowed dramatically, but I guess that is normal. I meet with my surgeon on Friday for my first check up and hope he will make me feel better.

I had my surgery December 17th too! 15 lbs lost is awesome! :)

Hey Kelly. You might want to drop in on some of the support group meetings at North Suburban? If you don't have the email address or contact info let me know and I can provide it for you? I considered Dr. G but went with another doc. I hear he's very good with his patients though.

I only lost 12 lbs the first 2 weeks so you're doing well.
