Hello all,
I haven't posted in awhile and thought that I would check in.
I love my band. I can't believe how amazing the last 5 months have been.
I see a counselor through my church and I am learning some great things about myself and healing some things that I don't like.
Dr. Snow is thrilled with my progress and God has managed to put me on paths that lead me to talk to people about my surgery and how wonderful the experience is.
I have only spewed 3-4 times and man does it stink. I find that all the times that I have barfed I was upset when I ate and ate without thinking about what I was doing. I still am naughty sometimes(Reeses Pieces are my drug of choice this week) but I catch myself before I get past 193 and get serious again. I only have 2.2 in my band so I can still eat bread and chicken easily. I have been known to chew on a piece of steak just to get the taste and then spit it out. Lord knows what it would do to make my band unhappy. The thought of swallowing my gum sends shivers down my back and drinking from a straw really does make me have less gas.
Just rambling of a happy size 12 woman on her way to an 8.
Blessings to all, have a great day.
