Help!!! Banded on Dec 18. On liquids fir 2 weeks. Yesterday i felt really good since the surgery. I was suppose to eat only mushy foods. Went to a party and ate everything it all when down Of course there is nothing in my band until i go back to my drs Why didi eat everything???

You ate Because you didn't exercise the control not to.....to be completely honest.

Until you get restriction we must be very strict with ourselves.... Counting calories and eating the proper portions. It's the only way you will lose during this time.

I Don't know why you did that so soon after surgery. I really did a lot of soul searching. This is a major life change for me. You might want to think about the reason you did the surgery . If the real reason is just to look better, you may not make it. I needed to change for all of that and my health. Try going back to the feeling you had when you made the decision to have the surgery.prove to yourself your worth it.i now know I'm the one with the brain not the food.i know you can do this

Plus, you need to realize the post op diet isn't there for you to lose weight. Your stomach has been banded and sutured. It's wounded. It needs time to heal. You're putting your band and health at risk by not following the doctor's orders and giving your body time to properly heal.

Wow! Thanks guys. You all are right. Thanks for the kick in the butt. I need change my way of eating and not go back to old habits. I can do this. The hard part is over. This is my new life I need to be honest with myself and treat my body better
