Help got a pill stuck in throat!! Newly banded

I took a small gas x pill I got my band a week from today it feels like its stuck in the right side of my tonsil not my throat I tryed drinking water then hot coffee then tryed vomiting I can breath fine has anyone else had this problem in my tonsil feels like????

Why would you try vomitting if it's in your throat? Vomitting causes your stomach to convulse and can compromise your surgery. The stomach is pulled up to overlap the band and is sutured into place. You could tear away those sutures causing the band to slip up your esophogus. Do not ever induce vomitting now that you have the band. I'm sure you're OK but for future reference, don't do that!

It sometimes happen to me with food (for example popcorn). I take my finger and get it unstuck. I can reach wayyyy back there behind my tonsils if I want :-) But you need to control your gag reflexes so you don't throw up....

Keep up the warm drinks... it will dissolve.
