Hi Nessa, I found that starting the day with a protein drink (at least 30g) worked well, followed by a jello or sf Popsicle about two hours later...then about lunch time a nice hot cup of bullion with a sf jello, then at dinner a veg soup, then a sf Popsicle about an hour before bedtime....lost almost 25 ilb pre surg. Good luck!

When I was on liquids both clear & full my doctor said he didn't care about the calories or volume. Have enough to get through it is what he said. I didn't start focusing on calorie in take until I was on regular food about 3 months post op.

I had steady weight loss through all the stages. That is what worked for me.

Good luck to you.

Pre op I did musle milks or lots of water with lemon juice no sugar & had a big salad with a little cooked ground turkey in it like 1/2 a cup one drink for breakfast one for lunch & the salad for dinner but the water I would always have a glass or bottle with me at all times and by the way I only put vinager with lemon juice for my taste on my salad no other dressings it seem to help my hunger cause I didn't want to starve before surgery and my doctor said that was fine now post op 3 months & 2nd fill I can't even eat lettuce & bread is gives me a bad stuck feeling , hope my suggestions help I still drink a pre mixed bottle of musle milk when I know I don't have time to eat, good luck
