I saw a lady on tv (had lap band) few years ago, she had gained her weight back. but drank her cals in skimmed coffee latte, I love a milky coffee, but I am now thinking twice, as I am not sure of cal content, she was sent for an exray and it was deemed she needed a fill, I do not want to drink my cals but they are so nice and fill me up for hrs,

Also, I do not see how a band, once adjusted to it's maximum efficiency, can stop being a band!

When I hear stories like that, there is usually something not being told.

My advise....

If you cut them out completely you will be miserable. Work one a day into your menu. I like wine and I drink wine every night, have since day one. I count the calories in my menu and stay around 1200 calories a day with my glass of wine. This is a life style change and not a diet (for me) and so I don't restrict myself from anything I truly enjoy. I just ask myself is it worth having today and if the answer is yes I have it. Simple as that (for me).

Good luck on your journey, do what works best for you to succeed.

Mst of the coffee I drink is instant or filter with. Dash of skim milk. But I make room for. Skinny latte most days - here they're 1/3 espresso, 2/3 steamed milk, and they come in cups, not buckets. Only 75 cl for a small skinny latte with no sugar, I don't see how tat could e a problem !

If you're going to a chain restaurant they have their calorie counts, in fact in the US it is now a law that they have to have the calorie counts. I would look up and see how many calories are in the drink that you want to have. I find if I find out how many calories something has that I often stop eating it. Even before I was banded I looked up how many calories was in the Chili's big bites hamburgers meal, I000 calories and 90 grams of fat. Ouch

I think you will find that the latte's have a lot more calories than you think.

Try sugar free. Coffee mates. They have 15 calories per tbls and 1 gram fat. I use two serving per cup and 3 cups decaf a day. They have extra cool flavors for the holidays. Peppermint mocha and pumpkin spice as well as others.
