I used Dr Spiegel for my band surgery and for the removal of my band. You may want to move this thread under the Doctors and Hospital Forum instead of under the lap band removal forum. If you need help moving it, I can help you!

Hi, I am so new (7 days) that I don't even know what questions to ask. Sorry.. I just don't know when I am supposed to get a fill. His office said "I will know" but how will I know. I don't like all this gas and I don't want to be really tight but I also am a self pay and can't afford to just keep going back to fill and unfill. I am sorry to sound so stupid but I am confused. Thanks for advice.

Hi, you are right. I am so new I don't even know where to ask questions....sorry.........

why did you have your band removed. How do you get a slippage. Is it easy to get one? Thanks.

I moved it for you. I had my band removed last month after having it for 30 months due to slippage. Throwing up, getting food stuck can cause your band to slip. I would wait 6 weeks and if you are able to eat like before the band then make an appointment to get a fill. I don't think his Port Neches office charges if you get a fill and in the same week get an unfill and you will surely know in a week.
