Banded On Nov.8--Seeking Advise&tips!

My name is Andrea! I was banded on November 8th, 2012. I've been looking forward to it for the last year. I just turned 20 years old on October 11th. After surgery I was sore, but every day its getting a little better. I've been drinking liquids, mostly Protein Shakes, but I'm also trying to get my Water in to so I'm not dehydrated. Its hard because I do feel hungry often! Any suggestions, tips, or advise anybody can give me for right after surgery?

:wub:Thanks, Andrea

I got banded on November 9th.. I'm feeling pretty hungry these days! My surgeon said clear liquids for two fays.. mushy foods such as pudding soft cereals and cottage cheese then moving on to egss and mashed potatoes and soft sandwiches.. everyone's surgeon is different I've seen people say that they're surgeon is saying liquids for two weeks post op.. mine says I should be on solid food two weeks after and I should change foods as my stomach can tolerate them

Ask you questions and we shall answer! Welcome to lap band life!
