Need a little help

Hi, I am considering lapband surgery. My husband is concerned about complications. I need to know if I should go to Mexico or spend the extra cash and do it here in the states. We have a great doctor close by but the surgery is $4000 more here in the states. If I go to Mexico do I use a patient broker? And who do you recommend using? I was scheduled for surgery in Mexico but my husband felt a little queazy about it so I cancelled.
