  1. You are not the slowest loser. I was banded April of 2006 and I have only lost 22 lbs. But even as I say that I makes me so happy because it has been a year and I am not gaining. I am still losing and I have not gained. That is a huge improvment from what I was doing. Keep it up! Slow is better.
  2. I have been reading this chat and am finding myself feeling better but I think I have you all beat. I have lost 10 lbs. in 6 months. Does anyone have an idea how to speed things up. nelbel
  3. Hi, I am considering lapband surgery. My husband is concerned about complications. I need to know if I should go to Mexico or spend the extra cash and do it here in the states. We have a great doctor close by but the surgery is $4000 more here in the states. If I go to Mexico do I use a patient broker? And who do you recommend using? I was scheduled for surgery in Mexico but my husband felt a little queazy about it so I cancelled. Aneladee
