Thinking Of The Band. First Meeting With Dr Monday

Hello all!

I'm thinking of getting surgery as stated in my subject line and I'm so happy I found you all! Your stories are really helping me make my decision. I'm meetin with my doc on Monday to discuss if I'm a candidate or not. Any advice? My insurance is thru units health care and. I have the choice plus plan. Anyone have any advice? Thanks!!!!

    Do lots of research and ask lots of questions. Best wishes to you! :)

    Lots of wealth and knowledge here on this forum. You can do your own research on the internet on to what kind of surgery should you have, before seeing your doctor. The doctor will recommend "what" surgery with you. It is a very good idea to do some research on your own. Ask your friends on what tey have done and why.

    do what works for you as we are all different

    please note the band is not a quick fix and unless we change our food/exercise habits

    any wls may or may not work
