I'm Currently Trying The Campbell's Soup But Just Draining The Noodles And Things Out, But I'm Also Suffering With BAD Pain Feels Like Gas, And I'm Afraid it May Be Coming From The Campbell's Soup. What Do You Think?!

I love the individual broth packets that you can get from Trader Joes. Low in sodium and sugar.

I had my lap band on Friday- oct 5. Those gas pains are from all the air they pump into you. They are very annoying. Even Vicodin doesn't relieve the discomfort.

i Had My Surgery On Friday, October 5 As Well, And These Gas Pains Are NO JOKE!! i Can Hardly Sit Up in The Bed. My Overall Goal Right Now is To Burp, Which i Haven't Done Since Before Surgery. Lol.

Gas x, a good laxitive and a heating pad does the trick as soon as you have a BM you will feel much better its like any other other surgery you need to get the colon working, and walk a around the room several times a day that willl help

I made a big pot of home made chicken broth b4 surgery then I had that and cream soups(made with water) it was good. Lose 7 lbs the first 3 days post-op.

I've used the Swanson brand of broths. They come in several flavors, they also make a low sodium version and are 99% FF.

I preferred stock has more flavor. When I got more desperate for real foods I switched to straining Campbells Soup. I would'nt bother with low salt broth your food choices are boring enough. During full liquids I added Mrs Dash salt free flavorings to Soups before heating to up the flavor.

OMG those gas pains are really annoying, I burp alot but still there ,, I had lapband OCt 4th, I'm feeling alittle better, but it's just the gas pains, and I'm kind of afraid to drink more than I have to thinking I will damage the band.

If you have hypertension or issues with renal function, you should not load up on sodium, as per my PCP's instructions...and if you read the nutrition labels some of those sodium content numbers are astronomical...

My husband & I both have hypertension so I always get the big cartons of Swanson's low sodium, ff. Can't wait until in gets cooler in FL & I can make all my Soups. When I'm on mushies I plan on blending them. I know they will taste good.

Make your own chicken or beef or veggie then you can control the sodium

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
