I am having the consult with the surgeon tomorrow yeah, are there any questions I should ask that any of you wished you would have asked that I should?

I am going to be self pay and I do not live near the clinic so I do know there are doctors in my comunity that do the folllow up and fills.

I would make sure that you line up a dr to do fills for you before you go thru the surgery and I would make sure that the surgeon is okay with it and that a local dr will take patients that he did not perform surgery on. I am also self pay and a 'patient for life' fills, unfills, removal if need be etc, I would hate to see any of that become void if I went to another dr.

I had a patient care coordinator at my clinic and I was a bit manic the months leading up to my surgery with questions and emails.......you won't think of everything for this appointment, make sure you have a contact at the surgeons office that you can get information from.
