I am excited to heal and really begin losing the weight.

Are you guys exercising yet? I have been on my spin bike a bit but kinda hurts. also walk.

Back at work now and having pain with incisions. Also pain while trying to sleep. how is your recovery coming along?

Really well..I'm doing 4 miles on the treadmill..cut up in 2 sessions...just can't wait to get rid of the lifting restriction..going for my first fill on the 3rd!!..how are things going for you?

i was banded the 5 th as well! Awesome, we can encourage each other. I am back at work. Doc advanced my diet to soft proteins after week one. Going for a fill Oct 8th. Down 23lb total. Going through the emotional roller coaster that others speak of. No desire to eat until 11 am or so. Good luck!

My Doc had me on mushies day 1. i find it hard to get all the Water in ugh! sometimes you just want to gulp it down, but nooo.... lol!

The emotional roller coaster is hard, hope it gets better for you soon!

I am on day 12 of liquids only. I snuck in some spicy refried beans thinned out with taco sauce. I am drinking 2 Pure Protein drinks a day. I am not a fan of any protein drinks but this particular one is tolerable. I get mushy foods starting Friday. I miss chewing! I haven't stepped on a scale yet and probably won't until my 1st fill on Oct. 9th. I am 42 and have been married for 22years. My husband was banded two weeks before me so we are doing this together. I am excited to lose weight but more excited to be rid of diabetes, hip, depression etc.

I had to go back on medical leave because I went back too soon and felt a lot of pain. annoying but I just need time to heal I guess.

Incision pain is normal especially around the port, they had to cut tissue to put everything in. takes time to heal that. I hope you feel better soon!

Yea doc told me no swimming or exercise other than walking. He said walk walk walk. Everything will heal faster. Seems to be working.
