Kim called me from Dr. V's office this afternoon. They are faxing my paperwork to UHC today (if they can get the fax to go through)!!!

:clap2: Yippee Skippy!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Talk to you Monday :)

Ok since I am off on Monday....I got it to go through. Let's hope all of it went through and I included everything. Oh Karen you were my first one I hope I didn't mess it up...I did have Julie look over it.

So it's off and you are just one step closer. :) :clap2: :D

Ok Kim now you've jinxed yourself, everything will be your fault because you 'touched' her file. Your job sounds so exciting. How did you hear about it?

Oh Jennifer I hope not....but you are probably right.

How did I find it....well I told him (Dr. V) & Erin the office manager that I was being laid off and if they knew anyone hiring I would get them my resume. The next thing I know is I was emailing my resume to him and even w/ no medical exp they thought I could do the job. I am very thankful for the chance. I have learned so much in just a week...WOW the medical field is SO different. It is alot of fun though....

Karen,

I remember how exciting it is to know that things are getting started! Congratulations, and I hope you get some great news really SOON!

Kim is going to make sure you are well taken care of. I cannot wait until you get your approval. It takes 4 days or so, I hope you know something by friday of this week. April Fools Is Saturday.

I'm excited, but the waiting is killing me! If I get a date in April, from research to surgery will be 8 long months. Hey, it's a life time committment, better later than never :)

Karen, I hope you hear something soon girl. 8 months is a long time to wait but it will be well worth it! Please let us know when you find something out.

OK, so I called UHC. They have a reference number on the pre-determination, but no status yet. At least I know they have it! :) I also got the standard "it could be 30 days" disclaimer.

:faint: OK, I'm confused! I called again. I should have been more specific last week. Apparently the paperwork they received last week had something to do with the ultrasound I had done and not my surgery?

Kim called yesterday and got a tracking number. I called again today, and again they told me they had no record of my predetermination paperwork. I didn't have the tracking number when I called today.
