Restriction Only 3-4 Days After 1St Fill

I had my first fill 10 days ago. For the first 3-4 days I felt restriction. I would only be able to eat 1/2 cup of something and I had to stop. Now I feel like that feeling is gone and I can handle almost 2 cups of food.

My first fill is coming on Oct 3 ....... Looking forward to what people say.

Try to pay attention to what you are eating, maybe you get full faster on certain foods. Maybe the swelling has gone done.

I am guessing the initial restriction you felt was due to swelling from the fill itself. It's not uncommon at all. It takes most people multiple fills before they have adequate fluid in their band.

Did you lose some pounds or inches? I know sometimes I feel restricted after a fill, then after a couple weeks between healing time on full liquids and the stomach swelling goes down, I lose a few pounds and have fallen out of green zone. But there are other times where I just wait and stay on track with following the rules and I end up losing and still feel not as much restriction.

I have lost. 7 lbs. Which makes a total of 43 lbs. But I keep carbs low and I excersize 3-4 times a week. I was banded 7/27.
