Little Dots Under Peoples Images?

What do the little dots under people's Images mean? Some have 3, some have more. What gives? ;-)

    From what I can tell, the number of "dots" related to your forum "title", which is tied to the number of active posts you have made.

    As the number of posts increases, so does the number of 'dots"....I have no clue as to the formula the forum uses to determine this...
