Day 10 Pre Op Liquid Diet, Anyone Else Experience Mood Swings??

Whoa talk about an emotional roller coaster!!

Am I alone with these MOOD SWINGS??

One minute I think so positive and feel like this is going to be easeir than I thought. Next minute Im ready to crawl into bed and just cry, feeling tired and kind of sick to my stomach. My muscles have been sore today also, I haven't done anything weird and I have had a lot of water.

Only 4 more days!

I can kind of understand that. The things I crave are not chocolates and sweets. I have been craving a peach, cottage cheese, string cheese, carrots, grapes, chicken........ cant wait for my mushy food stage! :)

We all have to mourn our old way of life. We mourn the habit of food. I dont really think its the food itself but the activity. Sure we say "I like the taste of food". Its a habit. I struggled post op for a bit but since Ive learned to eat differently it has stopped. I have no doubt after I have this baby Ill have to go through morning again since I did have to change my diet a bit to have enough nutrition.

You will get through it, and be better for it. YOU CAN DO IT!!
