Eating While Out Of Town, 4 Days In A Hotel (Business Trip)?

Hey Banders-

I am leaving town & will be spending 4 full days in a hotel for an amazing training with my in home party plan company. I have gone many years in a row, but this is my first trip being banded. I know for a fact eating 3 meals isn't really an option during this trip, so I am trying to come up with some ideas to get me through in a good way. Last night I went shopping & purchased beef Jerky, chicken salad & cracker kits along with Protein bars. I also plan to bring hard boiled eggs & lunch meat to keep in my cooler along with whole grain tortillas. Am I on the right track?

My nutritionist will be calling me tomorrow for a phone discussion based on my above thoughts, I just want to see what you guys think & if you all have suggestions to offer. Thanks so much B)

My best advice is to come prepared. This is something that I'm still trying to get the hang of - - planning my meals since I have limitations now (can't exactly just grab a cheeseburger and fries on the road anymore). I'm still learning, and have found myself stranded a few times. Convenience stores are REALLY hard to find healthy Snacks in!!

I'm going to Vegas in September for 5 days with family - - family that is already planning buffet trips! I let them know that the morning we arrive I need to hit up a grocery store and I plan on getting my "normal" snacks - Greek Yogurt, string cheese, fruit, etc since a buffet will be a waste of my money.

It sounds like you're on the right track!
