hey everyone,
so i'm due for my surgery this next monday, july 2nd. i've always had an unconfortable-ness on my right side and doctors have always said its just gas or something. this weekend i started having pain around my belly button (to the right of it) and i thought i even felt a little lump. its mostly just hurts when i press down around it. so i went to the ER, and they thought maybe it was a hernia. the CAT scan came back negative and my surgeon was going to look at the scan again to make sure they didn't miss anything though they couldnt feel anything when they felt around my belly. i have to go back on thursday again to make sure everything is ok. anyone experience this before? its still a little sensitive to pressure. i want to make sure everything is ok before the surgery to avoid complications, but i also dont want it to be postponed! especially after already a week of the liquid pre-op! :-P
just wondering if anyone had anything similar happen.
oh and the PA at my surgowns office that saw me yesterday said it might be gas because i'm full of gas... probably from the shakes. so i'm using gas-ex now.
thanks,
syl
