4.7 Cc In A10 Cc Band. Food Getting Stuck

I guess I am STILL not chewing my food well enough. I have food come up but I can keep food down. Is this close to the green zone?

The amount of Fluid in the band that results in the Green Zone is different for everyone, so you can't go by that.

As far as food coming up, take very small bites (like the size of your nail) and chew it until mush. Pause between bites. See if that helps.

You know you're in the Green Zone when:

-You can be satisfied with a cup of food or less

-You can go 4-5 hours between meals without being hungry

-You're not having night coughs or new acid reflux

-You're able to eat normally (though again, tiny bites and well chewed)

-You're losing weight (even if slowly)

I'm struggling with the same issues. If I focus totally on how I eat, I can usually keep everything down. But if I get the least little bit distracted or eat something that is not band friendly, it's off to the bathroom to "urp"! Every time I have a fill, it takes me a couple of weeks to readjust the way I eat and the things I eat. BUT, IT'S SO TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! Saw a number on the scale today that I haven't see in years!!!!! I'm at 6 cc's and I will consider this the green zone once I get adjusted to the fill I had a week ago today.
