I was banded a month ago and I ate a spoonfuls of chili and i have been suffering all day....I go see the doc tomorrow and that is my number one question..MY back pain is mid back and i have rumblings also in the lowee abdomen I cannot belch or let go of gas...I feel like I have entrapped something and the whole area is just all jammed up(so to speak),,, I have had Water but nothing else since the chili earlier....

What confuses me is that I had chili 2 days before that and not an issue...i have been keeping a food journal and when I get this back pain*sometimes chest pain also...I have had this pain mainly in the mornings, but yesterday it was dinner..

I am thinking this is normal....but I plan to ask doc

i have to admit, as much as i love chilli, and ate heaps of it before hand, that i had some digestive problems after surgery when i ate it. i had a lot of wind pain and it stayed with me for days.

Perhaps the Mexican meal was a tad too much for you?? i hope that it settled down real soon without anymore complications.

im having chilli now again... im post op 2 months coming up this week. im not having a lot but about a 1/4 teas with some meals.
