I am having a Thallium Stress test Tues. to rule out angina. Dr. Thinks I have Prinzmetal's angina atype of resting angina. reg. stress test in Nov was fine but I could only walk/run the treadmill 3 1/2 min.

My friend who had gastric surgery had to have a colonoscopy.Are some of these tests common? any other test I might have to have presurgery?

I also had a lexiscan and egd. They usually always do the egd prior to surgery check with your surgeon. I threw in the colonoscopy since both my parents had colon cancer and so i did the double dip!! Some drs oder sleep apnea testing also, along with blood work and chest xray.. good luck !!
