For People Who Work Overnight. I Have Some Suggestions

I work overnight as a stocker. I made the crazy choice to work all night then get banded. I was so out of it and could not keep my eyes open after surgery. They told me to wake up and I could not keep my eyes open. The nurse and I talked today and Hugh agreed I should have taken off. Just some friendly thoughts

Thanks for the advice... I work a 12 hour compressed shift, and had considered doing this very thing. But I guess I'll just take off the night before unless the surgery is scheduled on one of my off nights. :-)

So I won't be so tired I'm taking the night off prior to my surgery date, which is on my day off (April 24). I'll return to work nine days later and expect to be on light duty for a few weeks. I'm wondering if anyone - working on overnights or not - has any advice regarding drinking coffee as I am accustomed to drinking two cups a night. All responses will be appreciated!
