I have only had problems with cheap white bread. The kind you get in free rolls at restaurants.

The only bread I can eat at the moment is light flour tortillas. All other breads get stuck - a fact that I had inexplicably forgotten when I ordered and tried to eat a souvlaki on Sunday!

I eat wholemeal bread and find that if it is toasted it is easier than if it is soft. I can do english muffins but usually only half. They are not particularly healthy so if you do want bread go for the grainy types - they are far more nutritious.

Most types of bread give me trouble including Pizza Crust and tortillas. If I crave something that is like bread I do ok with reduced fat wheat thins.

I personally try to avoid bread especially after an adjustment. I can usually get down flour tortillas and thin crust pizza if I chew it well.

Toasted breads are better, and crackers are good too. Anything doughy, sourdough or pizza that isn't thin crust gives me problems most days!

Everyone is different.. I can't do any bread at all.. even a pretzel or cracker gives me grief so I just stopped trying about 8 months ago

bread can be the devil sometimes. I can usually do fine with toast (1 piece), or thin crust pizza. But any type of roll, forget it!...just doesnt go down, so i dont even attempt it anymore.

I can eat it, but dont often want it, since it inexplicably tastes unsatifsying and not as nice as it smells when I have restriction.

When I unfilled last year for a surgery - bread tasted great again - got some fill in, didnt taste so good.

sometimes I really want a piece of toast and have it and really enjoy it. More often I make it, take a bite and feel nauseous, it just doesnt taste right. Its so weird.

I also really want to enjoy an apple, but that's another thing that although i can eat, it tastes wrong to me.

I can eat pretty much any bread but only in very small amounts. The amount of bread I eat now is equal to or less than the size of the lump of butter I used to throw on the bread. Tiny pieces and whatever you do, don't drink. Water + bread may = stuck = sucks.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
