  16. Ok.. I got banded on 3/27 and I've seen posting about how people when they get to thier full feeling that they have shoulder and back pain.. and for the life of me i couldn't understand the shoulder pain and how that is connected to when you get full... well tonight i must of over done it a bit because guess what i have some definite pain in my left shoulder about 15 min after i had my creamed soup.. how is that connected..lol

  19. It does seem every one is dif.. i was banded on March 27 started pre op diet march 17 and could only have 2 protien shakes a day and nothing but clear liquids.. like jello and broth and suger free pops.. decaffinated teas.. that was it.. it was very tough.. but its been so far so good for me now.. now im on thicker liquids like puddings and cream sopups and a lil bit of scrambled eggs.. each day gets a lil better and since i started this im down 47 pounds.. u can do this!!
  20. Def seems like a lil bit of everything.. alot to take in.. if and whenever I decide to take that challenge.. thank you guys.. this site really helps alot
  21. I guess.. it depends on the person from what i have seen..I know scary to try..and Sagetracy.. that woould probably be .. id judt forget.. lol breads were my favorite.. but yet evil friend...lol
  22. Hi.. I am no where wanting to try breads.. I've heard nothing but bad things about people with breads.. but i was wondering if it is all breads or just the soft doughy like.. or is the harder baked breads ok.. some people are eating english muffins that I know with no problems and others can't??

  24. Thank you.. I won't say some days are tougher than others.. but I do have a goal for motivation as well.. I'm soo glad I did the lapband, I was very unsure in the beginging but have a couplek freinds that had it done.. and they helped alot with my decision.. for everyone this is def a new journey in one way or another..
  25. I am on day 12 of post op.. the dr already gave me ok to eat puddings.. creamed soups adn scrambled eggs.. even though its not a full egg.. the potatoes were more of a creamy consitency adn the squash was like a puree.. only a couple bites of each.. i was just curious because ive seen people eating bean burritos 2 weeks after and one who is eating whole grain chips.. i will wait ti:0l my dr says its ok for these.. thank you all for the info and advice.. this site will be a lot of help.
  26. Hello, I was planned for April 3rd 2012, but due to "paperwork issues" my surgery was moved up to March 27th.. i was called unexpectedly on march 17th and instructed to start clears right then.. soo I couldnt even get my last Horaah for my favorite foods. Needless to say I weighed in at 316 when I started the pathways in october of 2011 and now after surgery i'm down to 280.... i feel so much better and have no back or aching feet pain... Im so glad it was moved plus I'm also getting married this June.. so I am even happier about it being done sooner..
