How soon after surgery is an use tanning bed?

i used the tanning bed about 3 to 4 weeks after my surgery when i was able to get up and around with out hurting! it didnt affect anything i think it just depends on the person whenever you feel up to it!

My surgery was at the end of March and my wedding was in June.. my dr said after 3 weeks was fine as long as i covered the the incision sites with a bandaid so the scars wouldnt get darker...
