Psychological Poundage Challenging Me.
I have gone through some if the things you mentioned and we SURVIVED. I just lost my mother from complications with the bypass and i am scared beyond words. You have spoken to your counselor and people on here have said some encouraging words. Here is what helps me. First let me say I LOVE food. That is why I have let myself get to the size I am. I have many comfort foods an I go to them when I think I need them. There are many excuses that I make for eating bad foods, but here is the deal. You have 2 choices. 1- accept things the way they are. If you do this you will die an unhappy person with the same health problems that you currently have and may have more. 2- change things. This is when you think about what you want out of life and go get it. The things that have happened to us in the past, is what has made us who we are today. There are things in my past that I want to forget, but I can't. So I continue to be the best ME that I can be. I am living for myself and my kids, and if other people don't like it, they can remove themselves from my life. Remember you are you and you are doing your best. When you do your best, you hold your head up high. Life can be good if you want it. We will make mistakes. When you have the BAD DAYS, eat your ice cream. Then on the GOOD days, eat your healthy foods. You will start to see that the GOOD days come more often than the BAD.

How Soon After Surgery Before I Can Exercise?
I had surgery on July 23rd and I walk, ride recumbent bike, and last week started weight training on my arms. Haven't done any lower body weight training yet. I feel great!!! Call dr and do what your body tells you to do. If it hurts-don't do it.

Upper Legs
HELP!!! I had surgery on July 23rd and I am working out hard to try and minimize the extra skin, but what exercise do I do for the INSIDE of the UPPER LEG. This spot is nasty looking already.

I Love Been Banded And Plicated!
I had lap band with plication on July 23. I have been doing great and feeling wonderful, but I have not lost anything in 4 days. Is this normal? I'm exercising and eating like I'm suppose to, but the scales hate me.

Tomorrow!
I had band with plication on July 23rd. You will do great. I have 5 kidos and they were so sweet and nice. Give them hugs and kisses and take time for yourself. Being a great mom is what life is about, but it's time for you to shine. Smile and enjoy the journey or escapade as my husband calls it.

Make the changes before surgery. It makes them easier after.

This one may be nasty, but I used the potty on a high stool and was able to reach around without throwing out my back.

Share You Weight Loss Please :)
I was banded on Monday as well. The first night was really hard, but I feel great now. Still on liquids and will be for another week. I'm wanting other foods, but scared to try. I have lost 20 pounds since I started the battle and I'm gonna win. I want to wear a pair of jeans to my sons first football game.

Accidents
I was in full liquids for 10 days before with no accidents. If this keeps up, I'm calling the Dr.

I'm drinking my shakes and water. Not sure what it is. Maybe trying too hard to get the gas out.
