I Had My Lap Band Surgery On 03/19/2012

I am on liquid diet. Today is one week from the date I stared on this weight loss voyage. Hopefully everything will be alright. Still little scared.

you arent on your own. i think everyone of us here have been a little scared. I know i still have my moments when i think..'' what have i done?''... you will be o.k. though. just take a day at a time. worrying about tomorrow isnt goign to change anything, so just concentrate on the moment now. being on liquids is very demanding.. ive been on them now for five days. actually its gross. i have to stop and think about all the wonderful benefits im goingto get out of this. The fact that ive lost so much fluid and puffyness from my lower legs and feet , plus losing pain, has been a real stimulus for me though. i hope that it gets better for you. when it feels overwhelming, just get online and post. It will all be worth it in the long run. :)

I really like the motto "One day at a time!" I can do pretty much anything for one day and that will be my focus. Today!

Keep us posted,
